This includes Gilead Sciences who employs over 400 staff for development and manufacturing of investigational drugs, pharmaceuticals and clinical research programs.   Edmonton offers world-class medical facilitated, post-secondary schools, a strong health industry cluster & world leading artificial intelligence (AI) capability to service regional demand and the global digital health and pharmaceutical market that is expected to reach $1,383 billion in 2020/21 - driven by health care needs, biotech and efficient system.
